No matter how many times I moved him Tigger felt it was his right to be in the photo.
Before I could pick up the camera he would be right back.
Anyway, this is hubby's sweater. Since hubby is allergic to wool -- hives kind of allergic -- I used
a Red Heart worsted weight. Nothing fancy, but he's been wearing the camo one I made him for 10 years so I know he will wear this one.
Rarely is knitting frugal, but in this case it just happened to work out that way.
I used approximately 24 ounces of yarn on this. I was fortunate enough to buy the yarn half price and that gave me a cost of approximately $10 in this sweater. If he wears it at least 10 years I figure it would be a dollar a year.
The colors are a heather gray and a charcoal gray.
I have several other projects lined up, but I imagine I won't start anything until after Thanksgiving.
It looks very comfortable, for both your husband and Tigger!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lesley. I want to wash it tomorrow and then it'll be ready for him to wear.
DeleteCongrats on completing your dh's sweater, Shara! Such a cute kitty; maybe you should make kitty a sweater, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving,
Lisa
Thanks Lisa. Somehow I could see Tigger all tangled up...lol. He's a rotten kitty, but a good companion.
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you too!
