Christmas Bits

Tree's all decorated.  This year we went with something different since we had to downsize anyway.
Pastel lights, white tree and purple/silver ornaments.  (Don't know why I chopped off the star in the photo...sorry)

Christmas Pig for one of hubby's coworker's daughter.

Santa Gnome for hubby to set on desk at work.
Pattern on Ravelry, but also on Red Heart site.

On that note, blogger says I'm almost at my photo limit on this blog.
Quite frustrating because I don't want to delete the photos.
Guess I've got to decide whether to do that or start a new blog.

  1. I love the pig! I don't know if I am brave enough to try him, but he looks great.

  2. Shara,
are your existing blog photos stored on your computer in something like iphoto? You may be able to go back into your photo storage and re-export them to a file, as you are doing so, shrink the photo's size. I had the same issue. I was using a really good camera with high resolution. Those photos take up a lot of space. I've been going through my oldest posts, re-exporting and shrinking each photo to 10% it's original size.

I then tested this shrunk photo on an old blog post to see how it looked. Looked fine, so deleted the original photo from piccasa web photo storage, and uploaded the shrunken photo onto my blog post. Does any of this make sense? It worked for me. Email me, if you want better details on how to do this. lili.mounce@gmail.com

    1. I think I will try this before I have so many photos it becomes difficult to do. Thanks for the tip.

  3. Shara! I've been away from the computer for a bit, so I'm just seeing this post and have already seen your new blog...BUT! I had the same thing happen and learned that all I had to do to get unlimited photo storage on picassa was to join Google+, which I went ahead and did. I don't do anything with it, it's just there, and now I can load as many images as I want. Let me know if you need some help. :)
